Donation & Volunteer OpportunitiesAmerican Cancer Society Discovery Shop Accepts quality clothing, furniture, jewelry, accessories and antiques/collectibles. Volunteers are needed for sales and processing donations. Coats for Kids Foothill Volunteer Fire Department Thrift Shop Accepts furniture, dishes, clothing, linens, bric-a-brac, appliances and jewelry in good condition and working order. Volunteers are needed for processing donations. Goodwill Industries Accepts household items including housewares, knickknacks and glassware; furniture in good condition (NO mattresses, box springs, hide-a-beds, or baby furniture); audio and video equipment; microwave ovens and other small appliances (NO large appliances, or console TVs); tools; cell phones, computer CPUs and laptops, computer monitors, keyboards, and peripherals; lawn and garden items; toys; sporting goods; and blankets, sheets and bedding. Volunteers are needed for all areas of operation. Yuba-Sutter Gleaners Food Bank Accepts canned goods, baked goods, fruit, vegetables, nuts, clothing and kitchenware. Volunteers are needed to assist in the office and to collect and process donations. Volunteers must be at least 50 years of age. Salvation Army Donation Hours: Monday - Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm Accepts household items including dishes, knickknacks, TVs, computers, furniture, appliances (except stove hoods, toilets and hot water heaters), bedding, records, books, clothing and shoes.
