Recology Yuba-Sutter
Recology Yuba-Sutter (formerly Yuba-Sutter Disposal, Inc.) is the recycling and waste hauler serving the Cities of Live Oak, Marysville, Wheatland, Yuba City and the Counties of Yuba and Sutter. Recology Yuba-Sutter and its sister companies operate the Marysville Transfer Station and Material Recovery Facility; Ponderosa Transfer Station; Ostrom Road Landfill; Recology Ostrom Organics; and the Yuba-Sutter Household Hazardous Waste Facility.

California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle)
CalRecycle promotes waste reduction and the highest and best use of waste materials; regulates the handling, processing and disposal of solid waste; and, protects public health and safety and the environment through clean-up of abandoned disposal sites.

California’s Beverage Container Recycling Program
CalRecycle, officially known as the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, administers the California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act (Act) enacted in 1986. The primary goal of the Act is to achieve and maintain high recycling rates for each beverage container type included in the program. Beverage containers covered under the act are subject to California Redemption Value (CRV), which is 5 cents for containers less than 24 ounces, 10 cents for containers 24 ounces or larger. The Division provides a number of services to achieve these goals, including enforcement, auditing, grant funding, technical assistance and education.
